Karachi, February 7, 2026: The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) on Saturday released its daily shipping activity report, highlighting brisk vessel movement over the past 24 hours to facilitate port users, traders, and other stakeholders.
According to the report, updated at 8:00 AM Pakistan Standard Time (PST), multiple vessels sailed, berthed, and shifted at various terminals, reflecting steady operational activity at one of Pakistan’s busiest seaports.
Under the sailing category, M.V. Lampard departed from M/W-II carrying 34,403 metric tonnes of steel coil, while M.V. MSC Patnaree III sailed from QT2-I with container cargo. Additionally, M.T. Navigator Leo departed from the EVTL terminal carrying 11,732 metric tonnes of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), managed by Universal Shipping.
In berthing operations, LNG carrier M.T. Al Deebel berthed at the EETL terminal with a massive cargo of 139,915 metric tonnes, handled by GAC Shipping. Meanwhile, M.V. Asian Honor carrying 9,300 metric tonnes of sand docked at M/W-II, and M.T. Galaxy Gas berthed at EVTL with 3,417 metric tonnes of LPG. Another vessel, M.V. ZH Chang Xin, was also accommodated at the PIBT terminal.
Shifting operations included M.T. Marine Ista, which repositioned within QT2-I for bunker supply operations, and coal carrier M.V. Maro K, which shifted at the PIBT terminal carrying 55,921 metric tonnes of coal.
Port officials said the smooth movement of vessels highlights the efficiency of port operations and continued momentum in maritime trade activities. They added that all terminals remained fully operational, ensuring uninterrupted handling of essential commodities and industrial cargo.
