Port Qasim Activity

Karachi, November 13, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) released its updated shipping operations report on Thursday morning, detailing vessel movements, berthings, and cargo handling activities over the past 24 hours to facilitate trade and logistics stakeholders.

According to the PQA report issued at 0800 hours, multiple vessels continued active operations at the port, including container ships, oil tankers, and bulk cargo carriers.

During the period, two ships – M.V. Hansa Africa carrying containers and M.T. Zervos loaded with gas oil – sailed out of the port after completing their loading and unloading operations.

Meanwhile, five vessels berthed at various terminals of Port Qasim, handling a diverse range of commodities. Among them were M.V. MSC Olia with containerized cargo, M.V. Manta Sena carrying coal, and M.T. Khairpur transporting gas oil. Additionally, LPG carriers M.T. Kaisa I and M.T. Horizon 1 also berthed to discharge liquefied petroleum gas.

The port also reported shifting operations for two vessels — M.T. Marine Ista, handling high-sulfur furnace oil, and M.V. Venus Halo, carrying cement — between terminals to optimize port space and ensure smooth cargo movement.

The Port Qasim Authority reaffirmed that shipping activities are running smoothly and efficiently, with continuous coordination among port operators, customs authorities, and shipping agents to maintain the flow of import and export operations.

Port Qasim remains one of Pakistan’s key maritime hubs, managing a large portion of the country’s oil, coal, and containerized trade through its multiple terminals and berthing facilities.
