Port Qasim Activity

Karachi, November 19, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has reported a surge in shipping activity for Thursday, highlighting a busy 24-hour cycle at one of Pakistan’s major seaports.

The update, issued at 0800 hours, provides insight into vessel movements to help importers, exporters, logistics firms, and maritime stakeholders plan their operations effectively.

According to the latest PQA report, multiple vessels sailed from the port carrying petroleum products, chemicals, LPG, and general cargo. The departing ships included tankers transporting MOGAS, Paraxylene, and LPG, alongside a container vessel scheduled for departure later in the day.

Port Qasim also recorded significant berthing activity, with several container ships, LNG carriers, and bulk cargo vessels arriving to discharge or load goods. Notable arrivals included vessels carrying LNG, coal, and gas oil, as well as major container lines docking at QICT, QT2, and PIBT terminals.

The movement of both export- and import-oriented vessels reflects continued momentum in maritime trade, underscoring Port Qasim’s role as a key hub for Pakistan’s industrial supply chain. The authority continues to monitor port traffic to ensure smooth berthing schedules and timely cargo handling for all stakeholders. This steady operational flow supports economic activity, trade efficiency, and improved logistics performance across various commercial sectors nationwide.
