Karachi, November 11, 2025 — The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) reported an active day of maritime operations on Tuesday, highlighting multiple vessel movements involving imports and exports at Pakistan’s second busiest port.
According to the daily report issued at 0800 hours, four vessels set sail from Port Qasim during the past 24 hours, while four new ships berthed for loading and unloading operations.
Among the outgoing vessels were M.V. Eleni T, carrying containerized cargo, M.V. Pirrihios, loaded with 27,086 metric tons of sugar, M.T. Lila Ace, which transported 59,188 metric tons of coal, and M.T. Gas Lily, carrying 3,499 metric tons of ethylene.
Meanwhile, new arrivals included M.V. Aquavita Bay, with a coal consignment of 53,511 metric tons, and M.V. Venus Halo, which berthed to offload 36,460 metric tons of cement. M.T. Khasab Silver also arrived with 21,734 metric tons of palm oil, while M.V. GFS Prime docked for container operations.
The report added that operations were proceeding smoothly across various terminals, including QICT, PIBT, and LCT, under agents such as GAC Shipping, Al-Pine Marine, and Bulk Shipping Agencies.
Port Qasim continues to play a vital role in Pakistan’s import and export logistics chain, handling a diverse range of commodities, from coal and cement to palm oil and containerized goods.
