Port Qasim Reports Active Shipping Operations Today – March 2, 2026

Karachi, March 2, 2026 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) on Monday released its latest daily shipping operations report, highlighting steady vessel movement and robust port activity over the past 24 hours.

According to the official statement, the shipping operations were updated at 8:00 AM Pakistan Standard Time (PKT), covering arrivals, departures, cargo handling, and berthing schedules at various terminals of the port.

Vessel Sailings from Port Qasim

Several vessels sailed from Port Qasim carrying bulk and liquid cargo, reflecting continued trade flow. The oil tanker M.T-Roama 19, loaded with 18,000 metric tons of palm oil, departed from M/W-I berth under the agency of Al-Pine Marine.

Another major departure was M.V-Aquavita Soul, which sailed with 58,003 metric tons of petroleum coke from Pakistan International Bulk Terminal (PIBT), handled by International Shipping & Ports. Meanwhile, M.V-Port Osaka, carrying 53,113 metric tons of coal, departed from the PQEPT terminal, also managed by Al-Pine Marine.

Additionally, M.T-Bernice, loaded with 32,000 metric tons of palm oil, departed from the LCT terminal, marking another significant export movement of edible oil cargo.

Berthing of Vessels at Port Qasim

On the arrival front, M.T-Al Hamla, carrying 139,203 metric tons of liquefied natural gas (LNG), berthed at the Engro Elengy Terminal Limited (EETL) under the supervision of GAC Shipping, strengthening Pakistan’s energy supply chain.

Container traffic also remained active as M.V-MSC Marina docked at QT2-II, handled by MSC Pakistan, contributing to ongoing import and export operations.

Chemical cargo movements were recorded with M.T-Mistral Explorer, which arrived carrying 7,500 metric tons of ethylene, berthing at EVTL terminal under Al-Pine Marine.

Furthermore, M.V-Albert P berthed at QICT-VII, while M.V-New Noble arrived at M/W-I berth. Another tanker, M.T-Banglar Agrajatra, loaded with 29,000 metric tons of palm oil, docked at the LCT terminal, indicating sustained edible oil imports.

Operational Outlook

Port officials said cargo handling and vessel movements remained smooth and efficient, supported by favorable weather conditions and coordinated terminal operations. They added that Port Qasim continues to play a critical role in Pakistan’s trade and energy logistics, facilitating the steady flow of imports and exports.
