Karachi, November 29, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its latest shipping operations report for Saturday, reflecting a busy 24-hour cycle at one of Pakistan’s major seaports.
The update, issued at 8:00 AM, highlights ongoing vessel movements, including sailing, berthing, and shifting activities aimed at ensuring smooth trade flow and efficient port handling.
According to the PQA, multiple vessels departed the port during the reporting period. These included the vessel Aquavita Bay, carrying cement; Xin Ao Tai 1, loaded with palm oil; Ullswater and Horizon 1, both transporting LPG; and the container ship MSC Olia. Each vessel’s departure was managed by its respective shipping agent with designated berths facilitating swift clearance and movement.
The port also recorded several berthing operations. Among them were the coal carrier Manila Trader, the cement vessel Amis Wisdom VI, the sand carrier Limco Gold, the palm oil tanker Marina Arung, and the phosphoric acid carrier Condor Trader. These ships were accommodated at dedicated berths across the port’s terminals, enabling timely unloading of essential commodities, including coal, cement, industrial chemicals, and raw materials.
In addition, the port handled vessel shifting operations, which are crucial for optimizing berth availability. The soybean seed carrier Christos K was shifted during the early hours, while the vessel Marine Ista also underwent repositioning as part of the day’s operational adjustments.
The latest update reflects Port Qasim’s steady cargo handling pace and its pivotal role in supporting Pakistan’s import and export activities. The PQA continues to provide regular operational reports to facilitate traders, shipping agents, and supply chain stakeholders.
