Karachi, November 6, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) reported an active day of maritime operations on Thursday, reflecting the port’s crucial role in Pakistan’s trade and logistics sector.
According to the latest update released at 0800 hours, the report covered all vessel movements and cargo-handling activities over the past 24 hours.
Port Qasim, one of Pakistan’s major seaports, continues to handle a diverse range of cargoes, including containers, liquid bulk, and dry commodities. The PQA confirmed that several vessels successfully sailed out, while multiple new ships were berthed for loading and unloading operations throughout the day.
Among the vessels that departed were M.V. Spirit of Bertram, M.V. Hansa Africa, M.T. Fairchem Pathfinder, M.V. Woohyun Dream, M.T. Fortune Aqua, and M.V. Daphne, reflecting a mix of cargo and container operations. The port also facilitated fresh berthings, including M.V. Daphne, M.V. Yasa Venus, M.V. Astrid Schulte, M.V. Sedra, M.T. Bow Panther, and M.V. Lady Anastasia.
Port authorities highlighted that the consistent vessel turnaround demonstrates Port Qasim’s operational efficiency and strategic significance for international maritime trade. With its modern terminals such as QICT, PIBT, EVTL, and FAP, the port remains a critical hub for containerized and bulk cargo handling.
According to officials, PQA continues to coordinate closely with shipping agents to ensure smooth operations, timely clearances, and minimal congestion despite growing trade volumes. The authority’s daily shipping updates help importers, exporters, and logistics companies plan their supply chain movements more effectively.
