KARACHI, March 9, 2026: Port Qasim has released its daily vessels movement report for Monday, providing an update on maritime activities during the past 24 hours to facilitate shipping agents, traders, and logistics stakeholders.
The port authority issued the update at 8:00 AM Pakistan Standard Time (PKT), outlining details of vessels that sailed, berthed, and shifted within the port premises. The report highlights ongoing cargo handling operations involving containers, bulk commodities, and export shipments.
Vessels Departing from Port Qasim
Several vessels departed from the port after completing their cargo operations. M.V. GFS Giselle, a container vessel, sailed with a cargo manifest of 1,235 containers under the agency of X-Press Feeders from QT2-I berth.
Another vessel, M.V. Sheng Li, departed carrying 36,103 metric tons of iron ore, handled by Novamarine at MW-II berth. Meanwhile, M.V. MSC Shirinka, operated by MSC Pakistan, also sailed from QICT-VII terminal after completing container handling activities.
Vessels Berthing at the Port
During the same reporting period, multiple vessels berthed at the port for cargo loading and unloading. M.V. Eurosun arrived to load 26,250 metric tons of rice, representing Pakistan’s ongoing agricultural exports through Port Qasim.
Container vessel M.V. Eleni T docked at QT2-II berth, while M.V. Grand Ocean berthed at the FAP terminal carrying 65,200 metric tons of canola seed.
Additionally, M.V. Sakura Fortune arrived with 31,960 metric tons of steel coils at MW-II berth, and container ship M.V. RDO Endeavour, operated by Ocean Network Express, berthed at QICT-VII terminal for cargo operations.
Vessel Shifting Activity
Port operations also included vessel repositioning within the harbor. The LPG carrier M.T. Navigator Atlantic was shifted from the outer anchorage to a designated berth under the agency of M. International to facilitate cargo handling.
Port Qasim remains one of Pakistan’s key maritime trade gateways, handling a wide range of commodities including containers, agricultural exports, energy cargo, and industrial raw materials.
