Karachi, February 11, 2026 — The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) released its daily shipping operations report on Wednesday, highlighting active vessel movements and facilitating key stakeholders, including importers, exporters, and shipping agents. The report, updated at 8:00 AM, covers vessel activities over the past 24 hours.
According to the PQA, several vessels set sail from the port, carrying commodities such as palm oil, coal, containers, and mogas. Notable departures included M.T-Vera with 26,700 tons of palm oil, M.T-M Bright carrying 19,900 tons of palm oil, and M.V-ZH Chang Xin transporting 59,000 tons of coal. Container shipments and petroleum products were also actively handled, with vessels like M.V-GFS Genesis and M.V-Xpress Anglesey departing on schedule.
On the berthing front, Port Qasim witnessed the arrival of vessels transporting gasoline, palm oil, containers, steel billets, and EDC. Ships including M.V-Xpress Anglesey, M.T-Elm Galaxy, and M.V-APL Le Havre were berthed at designated terminals for efficient loading and unloading operations. The port continues to manage high traffic while ensuring timely turnaround for vessels.
Shifting operations were also conducted, with vessels like M.T-Galaxy Gas being moved between berths to optimize port space and accommodate new arrivals. PQA officials said that these coordinated operations reflect the port’s commitment to maintaining smooth maritime logistics and supporting Pakistan’s trade flows.
Industry experts noted that Port Qasim’s consistent performance plays a vital role in facilitating imports and exports, helping stabilize supply chains, especially for commodities critical to the national economy.
