Karachi, November 2, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its detailed shipping operations report for Sunday, ensuring transparency and timely updates for importers, exporters, and maritime stakeholders.
The report, issued at 0800 hours, highlights smooth operations over the past 24 hours, with multiple vessels handling a diverse range of commodities including coal, rice, sugar, and LPG.
According to PQA, several key vessels successfully sailed from the port, including M.V. Thor Fealess carrying 53,420 metric tons of coal, M.T. Eva Fuji transporting 5,248 metric tons of ethylene dichloride (EDC), and M.V. Melbourne Spirit loaded with 20,000 metric tons of rice. These ships departed on schedule, reflecting the authority’s commitment to efficient cargo handling and vessel management.
Meanwhile, fresh berthing operations were also reported. Container ship M.V. MSC Tia V docked at the QICT terminal, M.V. Pirrihios carrying 27,000 metric tons of sugar berthed at the multipurpose wharf, and M.T. Maya Gas 1 loaded with 1,807 metric tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) was received at the EVTL terminal.
The Port Qasim Authority stated that operational efficiency, digital coordination, and real-time monitoring have significantly reduced turnaround times and enhanced trade facilitation. Cargo handling, customs clearance, and logistics coordination continue to run seamlessly under enhanced protocols.
