Karachi, March 8, 2026 – Port Qasim released its daily shipping activity report on Sunday, providing an update on vessel movements and port operations over the past 24 hours.
The port authority issued the report at 8:00 AM Pakistan Standard Time (PKT) to keep shipping lines, logistics companies, and trade stakeholders informed about the latest maritime operations. The daily report highlights berthing schedules, cargo handling activities, and vessel movements at one of Pakistan’s busiest deep-sea ports.
According to port officials, several vessels successfully berthed at different terminals to handle containerized cargo and other shipments. The container vessel MSC Shirinka arrived and berthed at QICT-VII terminal at around 11:30 AM, carrying containerized cargo. The vessel measures approximately 294.12 meters in length and operates under the agency of MSC Pakistan, facilitating international container trade through the port.
Meanwhile, the vessel GFS Giselle, measuring around 240 meters, also arrived and berthed at QT2-I terminal at approximately 2:30 PM to handle cargo operations. Later in the evening, the large container ship ONE Motivator, with a length of about 302 meters, was scheduled to berth at QT2-II terminal at 6:00 PM.
Port authorities stated that the smooth berthing of these vessels reflects the port’s continued operational efficiency and its vital role in supporting Pakistan’s maritime trade and logistics network.
Port Qasim Authority regularly publishes daily shipping activity reports to ensure transparency and facilitate planning for shipping agents, importers, exporters, and port operators involved in the country’s trade supply chain.
