Port Qasim Activity

Karachi, March 25, 2026 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its daily shipping activity report, detailing vessel movements and cargo handling operations at Port Qasim over the past 24 hours.

According to the latest update issued at 8:00 AM Pakistan Standard Time (PKT), multiple vessels carrying key commodities such as coal, cement, palm oil, and bitumen were recorded arriving, berthing, and departing from the port, highlighting continued trade activity at one of Pakistan’s busiest maritime hubs.

During the reporting period, two vessels successfully sailed from the port. Bulk carrier M.V. Al Saad departed after loading a significant quantity of coal, while M.V. Suvari Bey sailed with a shipment of cement. These departures indicate steady export and import handling, particularly in construction-related commodities.

On the arrivals side, several vessels berthed at different terminals. M.V. Meghna Princess docked carrying palm oil, a key import commodity for the country’s food and industrial sectors. Similarly, M.V. Vimc Bright arrived with a shipment of bitumen, which is essential for infrastructure and road development projects. Another large container vessel, M.V. DP World Chennai, also berthed, further supporting containerized cargo operations.

Port officials noted that shipping operations remained smooth, with efficient handling of vessels across multiple berths. The consistent flow of cargo reflects stable maritime trade activity and ongoing demand for essential imports and exports.

The daily shipping report serves as a vital resource for shipping agents, importers, exporters, and logistics stakeholders monitoring port operations in Pakistan.
