The update, issued at 0800 hours, provides essential information regarding vessel movements and cargo operations over the past 24 hours. This report aims to facilitate shipping companies, port officials, and other stakeholders involved in maritime trade at Port Qasim.

According to Port Qasim’s latest update, multiple vessels have been actively engaged in shipping operations, including the berthing and sailing of cargo ships carrying essential commodities. The port continues to handle significant volumes of trade, reinforcing its role as a key player in Pakistan’s maritime industry.

Sailing of Vessels

Port Qasim reported the departure of several vessels engaged in shipping operations. Among them was M.V. MSC Positano, a container ship with a length of 208 meters, which sailed under the agency of MSC Pakistan. Additionally, M.T. Kathrine Kosan, a tanker carrying 5,502 metric tons of ethylene, departed under the supervision of Al-Pine Marine. The ship had an aft draft of 7.5 meters and was stationed at the EVTL berth before departure.

Berthing of Vessels

Port Qasim also received multiple vessels for cargo handling and shipping transactions. The M.T. Thetis Leona, a 146-meter-long tanker, berthed at LCT Berth to discharge 18,000 metric tons of palm oil. Another vessel, M.T. Jal Siddhi, was also scheduled to berth at EVTL Berth later in the evening.
