Karachi, October 11, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) released its latest shipping activity report for Saturday, providing an overview of vessel operations and port movements within the past 24 hours.

The detailed port report was updated at 08:00 hours, helping shipping companies, importers, and exporters stay informed about the current maritime logistics situation.

According to the Port Qasim statement, several vessels were handled efficiently, reflecting the port’s ongoing efforts to ensure smooth shipping operations despite fluctuating trade volumes. The continuous monitoring of arrivals, berthings, and sailings highlights the importance of Port Qasim as one of Pakistan’s busiest maritime gateways.

Among the vessels that sailed out were M.V-ASTAKOS, carrying a coal shipment of 53,105 metric tons, and M.V-CMA CGM VERDI, a container vessel managed by CMA CGM Pakistan. Both ships departed from their respective berths after completing cargo operations under strict port safety protocols.

During the same period, new vessels arrived at Port Qasim, including M.V-GREGOS, M.V-MEGHNA SUN loaded with 39,000 tons of rice, and M.T-UOG HARRIET G transporting 53,399 tons of gas oil. These ships were assigned to dedicated terminals such as FAP and FOTCO for smooth cargo handling.

The shipping activity report underscores Port Qasim’s critical role in sustaining Pakistan’s maritime trade, ensuring efficient cargo flow, and maintaining punctual shipping schedules across regional and international routes.
