Karachi, October 6, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its latest shipping activity report to update stakeholders on vessel operations and cargo movement during the past 24 hours.
The detailed report was compiled at 08:00 hours on Monday, reflecting ongoing activity at Pakistan’s second busiest port.
According to the PQA, multiple vessels engaged in loading and unloading various commodities, highlighting the continuous flow of trade and maritime logistics at Port Qasim. The oil tanker M.T. Bentley I departed from the Liquid Cargo Terminal carrying 29,999 metric tons of palm oil under the management of Al-Pine Marine.
Meanwhile, new arrivals were reported at several berths. The vessel M.T. Arachthos I berthed at FOTCO terminal to discharge 27,000 metric tons of low-sulphur fuel oil (LSFO), while M.V. MSC Iniya V and M.V. Albert P arrived at QICT terminals to handle containerized shipments.
The shipping operations at Port Qasim continue to demonstrate efficiency and coordination among terminal operators, customs authorities, and marine agencies. These activities underscore the port’s vital role in supporting Pakistan’s import and export network, ensuring timely handling of cargo and vessel turnaround.
The Port Qasim Authority emphasized that all shipping movements are being managed smoothly under standard safety protocols.
