Karachi, August 24, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) released its daily shipping activity report on Sunday to provide stakeholders with updates on vessel movements and berthing schedules.

The report, issued at 0800 hours, covers a 24-hour period ending the same morning.

According to PQA, multiple vessels engaged in maritime operations at the busy port, reflecting steady cargo handling and logistical coordination. Sailing activity included M.V. Kumasi, M.V. Xpress Kohima, M.T. Nave Cassiopeia, and M.T. Yashar, which departed the port at staggered times ranging from 10:30 to 15:30 hours. These vessels carried a mix of containerized goods and liquid cargo, ensuring smooth continuation of shipping operations.

On the berthing side, M.V. Xpress Kohima, which also completed a sailing run, returned for further loading and unloading tasks. Other arrivals included M.T. Asia Inspire, M.T. Nepta, and M.T. Hyde Park, which were assigned to specialized terminals including LCT, SSGC, and EVTL. Their cargo primarily consisted of petroleum products and essential imports, underlining the port’s critical role in sustaining Pakistan’s supply chain.

PQA officials highlighted that operational efficiency remained strong, with precise scheduling minimizing congestion and ensuring uninterrupted maritime traffic. The shipping activity report serves as a vital update for terminal operators, logistics firms, and cargo handlers preparing for the upcoming trading week.
