Port Qasim Activity

Karachi, August 29, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) released its latest Shipping Activity Report to provide real-time updates for traders, shipping lines, and port operators.

The report, updated at 08:00 hours, covers vessel movements, berthing schedules, and sailing timelines for the past 24 hours.

According to the PQA, multiple shipping operations took place with smooth coordination between terminal operators, port authorities, and shipping agents. Three major vessels – MT PM Duke, MV MSC Falcon III, and MT AN 61 – were recorded as having completed sailing from their respective berths. Their departure timings were documented to ensure port logistics, cargo handling, and customs clearance activities remain streamlined.

Additionally, the report confirmed the berthing of MT Solar Roma, which successfully docked at its designated berth to commence cargo operations. This reflects Port Qasim’s commitment to handling increasing shipping traffic efficiently while meeting the logistical demands of importers, exporters, and maritime service providers.

Port Qasim has been witnessing consistent growth in cargo movement, driven by rising shipping demand and expanding industrial activity across Pakistan. Officials highlighted that accurate shipping data ensures timely clearance of goods, better resource management, and smoother coordination with global shipping lines.

Industry experts believe that such regular updates strengthen transparency, help port users plan operations, and support Pakistan’s trade through efficient shipping and port management practices.
