KARACHI – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its official shipping activity report for Thursday, August 7, 2025, to provide updates for maritime stakeholders and logistics operators.
The report, updated at 0800 hours, summarizes vessel movement and cargo handling at the busy port over the last 24 hours.
According to the report, multiple ships engaged in import and export operations during this period. A total of four vessels departed from Port Qasim, including M.V. HANSA AFRICA, which sailed from QICT-V carrying containers; M.V. MTR CHESSMASTER, which departed from PIBT with over 58,000 tons of coal; M.T. NEPTA, which handled a shipment of over 4,000 tons of LPG; and M.T. DS ROSA, which exported over 5,200 tons of ethylene from EVTL.
Meanwhile, two new vessels berthed at Port Qasim. The coal carrier M.V. SEA BIRD arrived at PIBT with nearly 60,000 tons of coal, while M.T. CNC DREAM docked at EVTL carrying 3,100 tons of acetic acid. These vessel operations underscore the growing pace of port activity and the importance of Port Qasim as a major shipping hub in Pakistan.
