Karachi, February 5, 2026 — The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) on Thursday released its daily shipping activity report to keep port users, traders, and logistics stakeholders informed about vessel movements over the past 24 hours.
According to the PQA, the report was updated at 8:00 AM Pakistan Standard Time (PST) and covers the arrival and departure of vessels at various terminals of Port Qasim.
On the sailing side, the bulk carrier M.V. Al Kyoni SB departed from the Pakistan International Bulk Terminal (PIBT) after loading over 55,600 metric tons of coal, marking steady activity in the energy supply chain. Meanwhile, the container vessel M.V. Ren Jian 26 sailed from QICT-VII, reflecting continued containerized trade operations at the port.
The berthing activity remained robust during the day, with multiple vessels calling at different terminals. The container ship M.V. Lila Mumbai berthed at QICT-V, while M.T. Richland Singapore docked at the Fauji Akbar Port (FAP) carrying a large consignment of soybean seed, supporting the country’s edible oil and feedstock requirements. In addition, M.V. Lampard berthed at Marginal Wharf-II with a cargo of steel coils, contributing to industrial raw material imports.
Two more container vessels, M.V. MSC Patnaree III and M.V. MSC Long Beach IV, also arrived at QT2 terminals, underlining sustained container traffic at Port Qasim.
The PQA stated that smooth vessel movements indicate normal port operations and stable maritime trade flows, despite prevailing economic and logistical challenges.
