Port Qasim Activity

Karachi, November 24, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) released its latest daily shipping activity report on Monday, providing a detailed update for stakeholders, shipping companies, and trade bodies.

The report reflects vessel movements recorded during the 24-hour period ending at 0800 hours, highlighting key developments in vessel departures, arrivals, and berthing operations at Pakistan’s second-largest port.

According to the PQA, one vessel sailed during the reporting period. The LPG carrier M.T-Sarwat Gas departed the port after completing cargo handling operations. The authority noted that its departure was executed on schedule, ensuring smooth traffic flow across the port channel.

The report also documented significant berthing activity, with multiple vessels arriving to handle a diverse range of cargo categories. These included bitumen, coal, gasoline, soyabean seed, containers, and bunker fuel supply. Among the notable arrivals were M.T-Zest, which berthed for bitumen discharge, and M.T-Marmara S, which arrived with a sizeable coal consignment. The gasoline carrier M.T-Lian Yang Hu also berthed successfully, followed by container vessels M.V-Seaspan Santos and M.V-Hua Chuang 66, both managed by leading global shipping lines.

In addition, the coal-laden M.V-Captain Sitaras and the soyabean seed vessel M.V-Royal Jade berthed at PIBT, reflecting strong agricultural and industrial import activity. A bunker supply vessel, M.T-Marine Ista, also reported arrival for routine fueling operations.

PQA emphasized that the daily shipping updates help ensure transparency and operational efficiency for importers, exporters, clearing agents, and maritime operators. The authority continues to streamline reporting mechanisms to support Pakistan’s growing maritime trade.
