Karachi, July 25, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its daily report detailing the shipping operations carried out at Port Qasim over the last 24 hours, providing important insights for importers, exporters, and logistics stakeholders. The report, compiled at 0800 hours on Friday, covers vessel movements, cargo handling, and berthing activity.
During the reporting period, several key vessels departed from Port Qasim, carrying a range of essential commodities. These included M.V. Karadeniz S loaded with 54,234 metric tons of coal, and M.T. Pacific Sarah which carried 58,746 metric tons of Mogas. Other outgoing vessels transported palm oil, containers, and cement, highlighting the port’s diverse cargo handling capabilities.
Simultaneously, new vessels berthed at Port Qasim, continuing the flow of imports into Pakistan. Notable arrivals include M.T. Silver Joan with 45,640 metric tons of palm oil, and M.T. Nave Andromeda, which discharged 60,702 metric tons of gas oil. Additionally, M.V. Lynux Synergy docked to unload 24,000 metric tons of iron ore, a key raw material for the country’s steel and construction industries.
Port Qasim continues to play a critical role in Pakistan’s maritime trade, serving as one of the country’s busiest and most strategic ports. With its ability to handle large vessels and bulk shipments, the port significantly contributes to national supply chains and energy imports.
