Karachi, July 27, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its latest shipping activity report for Sunday, aimed at providing up-to-date logistical information to all stakeholders involved in Pakistan’s maritime trade.

The report, updated at 0800 hours, outlines the shipping activity recorded over the past 24 hours at the port. It includes vessel movements, berthing status, and cargo handling data critical to understanding the current flow of trade.

Three vessels departed from Port Qasim during this period. These included M.T-SILVER JOAN, which sailed after unloading 25,639 metric tons of palm oil; M.V-ASL IXORA, which handled 58,899 metric tons of imported coal; and M.T-MAYA GAS 1, which discharged 1,835 metric tons of LPG. Each vessel’s movement was coordinated by licensed shipping agents and reflected in the official report.

Simultaneously, berthing activity remained steady with three new vessels arriving at the terminals. M.T-AL JASSASIYA berthed with a significant import of 140,905 metric tons of LNG, managed by GSA (Pvt) Ltd. Another vessel, M.T-DALMA, docked to unload 29,854 metric tons of palm oil, while the container vessel M.V-MSC JUSTICE VIII was moored at the QT2-I terminal under the supervision of MSC Pakistan.

The shipping activity report serves as a critical indicator of trade momentum at Port Qasim and ensures operational transparency. With multiple commodities including LNG, LPG, palm oil, coal, and containers being handled, the port continues to demonstrate its pivotal role in supporting Pakistan’s maritime trade infrastructure.
