Karachi: The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) on Thursday released its latest daily shipping activity report, detailing vessel movements at Port Qasim during the past 24 hours.
According to the report, the port authority updates its shipping activity at 8:00 AM Pakistan Standard Time (PKT) to keep importers, exporters, shipping agents, and other stakeholders informed about vessel arrivals and departures.
Vessels Departing from Port Qasim
Several vessels departed from the port after completing cargo operations. Bulk carrier AM Ocean Silver sailed from PQEPT Terminal carrying around 50,408 metric tons of coal. The vessel had a length overall (LOA) of 190 meters and was handled by Al-Pine Marine.
Container ship Hansa Europe, measuring 240 meters in length, departed from QICT-VII Terminal under the agency of GAC Shipping after completing container operations.
Meanwhile, tanker Navigator Celtic sailed from the EVTL Terminal transporting 12,090 metric tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). The vessel was also represented by Al-Pine Marine.
New Vessels Berthed at the Port
During the same reporting period, several ships arrived and berthed at different terminals to load or unload cargo.
Tanker Polyaigos docked at the FOTCO Terminal carrying approximately 60,000 metric tons of high-sulfur fuel oil (HSFO), managed by Al-Pine Marine.
Bulk carrier Spar Electra also berthed at the PIBT Terminal for cargo handling operations.
Additionally, chemical tanker DM Condor arrived at the EVTL Terminal with 10,027 metric tons of paraxylene, with Al-Pine Marine acting as the vessel’s shipping agent.
