KARACHI, May 6, 2026 — The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) on Wednesday released its daily shipping activity report, detailing vessel movements and cargo operations over the past 24 hours to facilitate maritime stakeholders.
According to the report issued at 8:00 AM Pakistan Standard Time, several vessels were engaged in berthing and sailing operations across different terminals handling containers, energy products, and industrial commodities.
Sailing of vessels
Two vessels departed during the reporting period. The tanker M.T. LADY OF DORIA sailed at 15:30 from FOTCO terminal carrying 25,000 metric tons of furnace oil. Another vessel, M.T. RAON TERESA, also sailed at 15:30 from EVTL terminal with 2,870 metric tons of acetic acid.
Berthing operations
Three vessels were berthed during the period. The container vessel M.V. HANSA EUROPE was berthed at QT2-II terminal, while M.V. CMA CGM NILE was berthed at QT2-I, reflecting ongoing container handling activity at the port’s main terminals.
Meanwhile, M.V. KOBAYASHI MARU was berthed at PIBT terminal carrying 58,770 metric tons of coal, highlighting continued energy-related imports through the port.
Maritime activity outlook
Port officials said regular vessel movements underscore the operational efficiency of Port Qasim, which remains a key hub for Pakistan’s import and export trade. The port handles a diverse range of cargo, including petroleum products, chemicals, coal, and containerized goods.
Authorities continue to publish daily shipping updates to ensure transparency and support logistics planning for shipping agents, importers, and exporters operating through the port.
