KARACHI, May 6, 2026 — Wafi Energy Pakistan and Indus Motor Company have entered into a strategic partnership to ensure the supply of Toyota Genuine Motor Oil (TGMO) across Pakistan, strengthening availability of OEM-approved lubricant solutions for Toyota vehicles.
Under the agreement, Wafi Energy Pakistan will supply two key lubricant grades — Petron Plus 10W-30 and Petron 20W-50 — developed to meet Toyota’s global standards for engine protection, performance, and efficiency.
The agreement was signed in Karachi by senior executives from both companies, including Wafi Energy Director Lubricants Danish Ansari and Indus Motor Company Director Sales, Marketing & Customer First Division Abdul Rab, in the presence of leadership teams from both sides.
Indus Motor Company, the local assembler and distributor of Toyota vehicles, said the partnership will ensure consistent access to genuine motor oils through its nationwide network, supporting long-term engine reliability and customer satisfaction.
As the licensee of the Shell brand in Pakistan, Wafi Energy combines global lubricants technology with local technical expertise to support evolving automotive requirements in the country. The collaboration aims to strengthen supply chain reliability for Toyota customers nationwide.
Indus Motor Company Chief Executive Officer Ali Asghar Jamali said Toyota customers expect uncompromising quality, adding that genuine motor oil is a key component in maintaining engine performance and durability.
Danish Ansari of Wafi Energy said OEM partnerships are increasingly important as vehicle technologies evolve, requiring lubricants that match advanced engine specifications.
Abdul Rab highlighted that ensuring continuous availability of Toyota Genuine Motor Oil is essential for delivering a seamless customer experience and maintaining consistent service standards across the dealer network.
The partnership is expected to enhance product availability and reinforce adherence to Toyota’s global engineering standards in Pakistan’s automotive lubricant market.
