Karachi, October 13, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its daily shipping activity report for Monday, providing updates on berthing, sailing, and cargo handling operations to facilitate trade and logistics stakeholders.

The detailed report, issued at 0800 hours, covers port operations during the past 24 hours and highlights ongoing maritime movements.

According to PQA, multiple vessels engaged in shipping activities arrived and departed from the port, handling various commodities including bitumen, cement, acetic acid, and rice. The oil tanker M.T. Asphalt Alliance sailed out from Marginal Wharf-I after offloading 4,991 metric tons of bitumen, while M.V. Navios Verde completed loading operations and departed from Qasim International Terminal.

On the berthing side, vessels such as M.T. Sea Harvest carrying 2,600 metric tons of acetic acid and M.V. Kouros Leader loaded with 35,430 metric tons of cement were successfully berthed at their respective terminals. Another container ship, M.V. GFS Juno, along with M.V. Seapan Santos, also arrived to continue shipping operations in coordination with private terminals.

The PQA management stated that overall port operations remain smooth, with efficient cargo handling and vessel turnaround ensuring minimal delays. Continuous updates to the shipping activity report enable transparent communication with traders, agents, and logistics firms, reinforcing Port Qasim’s key role in Pakistan’s maritime trade network.
