Karachi, September 1, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its daily shipping activity report, providing crucial operational updates for maritime stakeholders. Issued at 08:00 hours, the report reflects vessel movements, berthing schedules, and cargo handling activities at the busy port over the previous 24 hours.

According to the PQA, shipping operations at Port Qasim remained smooth with several vessels successfully berthed across its terminals. Among the key ships, M.V-MSC CAPRI with a length overall of 208 meters docked at QT2-I terminal at 09:00 hours. Later in the day, M.V-XPRESS SALWEEN, measuring 172 meters, berthed at QICT-V terminal at 12:30 hours. The third arrival, M.V-SEASPAN SANTOS, one of the larger vessels with a length of 260 meters, was secured at QICT-VII terminal by 13:00 hours.

Officials stated that the port continues to strengthen its capacity to handle increasing shipping volumes by streamlining berthing schedules and enhancing cargo handling efficiency. They emphasized that the punctual berthing of vessels ensures smooth loading and unloading operations, reducing turnaround times and avoiding congestion.

The Port Qasim Authority further noted that additional details regarding cargo tonnage, import and export consignments, and vessel departures will be shared in subsequent updates. With sustained improvements in infrastructure and digital monitoring systems, Port Qasim is positioning itself as one of the most reliable shipping hubs in the region.
