Karachi, September 19, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) released its daily shipping activity report on Friday to update trade and industry stakeholders about port operations.
The report, updated at 8:00 AM, reflects vessel movements over the last 24 hours.
According to PQA officials, one vessel, M.V-Highway, departed the port during the reporting period. The vessel had completed its cargo operations and set sail from berth QT2-I at 3:00 PM on Thursday.
On the other hand, several new vessels were accommodated at Port Qasim, highlighting the port’s busy operational schedule. M.V-MSC Falcon III berthed at QT2-II, while M.T-Start docked at LCT terminal. In addition, M.T-Amir Gas was received at EVTL, M.V-MSC Ulsan III berthed at QICT-VII, and M.V-Falmouth Bay was allocated space at PQEPT.
The authority stated that the arrival and sailing of multiple vessels demonstrates Port Qasim’s growing role in facilitating the country’s maritime trade. These shipping activities include handling of containerized cargo, bulk imports, and essential energy supplies such as gas and petroleum products.
Industry experts note that consistent shipping operations at Port Qasim are vital for ensuring smooth trade flows, supporting export commitments, and maintaining the steady supply of imports. The PQA further emphasized its commitment to enhancing efficiency and minimizing vessel waiting times.
