Karachi, September 27, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its latest activity report, highlighting ongoing shipping operations at one of Pakistan’s busiest maritime gateways. The update, issued at 8:00 AM on Saturday, covers vessel movements and activities over the past 24 hours.
According to the report, multiple vessels continued to sail in and out of the port, ensuring the smooth flow of goods that form a critical part of Pakistan’s trade and industry. Tankers and container ships remained active, reflecting the steady pace of global and regional shipping routes that connect Port Qasim to key markets.
Among the major vessels, M.T. Orchid Kefalonia and M.T. Chemroad Dita departed from the port, carrying their respective cargoes after completing berthing and loading operations. Both ships represent the diverse nature of maritime trade, handling different commodities essential for industrial and commercial sectors.
On the arrival side, M.V. Xpress Dhaulagiri successfully berthed at Port Qasim, strengthening the port’s role as a central hub for containerized cargo. Its docking underlines the increasing reliance of shipping companies on Karachi’s facilities, particularly Port Qasim, which continues to expand its operational efficiency.
The PQA emphasized that all movements were handled smoothly without disruptions, ensuring timely clearance for traders and shipping agents. With growing activity, Port Qasim remains a vital artery for Pakistan’s import and export economy.
