Port Qasim recorded multiple vessel movements on September 19, with ships scheduled to sail, berth and shift across several terminals.
KARACHI, September 19, 2026: Port Qasim recorded busy shipping activity during the last 24 hours, with several vessels scheduled to sail, berth and shift at different terminals, according to the latest port operations data issued as of 8:00am on September 19, 2026.
Four vessels scheduled to sail
Four vessels were scheduled to sail from Port Qasim during the day.
The M.V-Bird 16, with a length overall (LOA) of 98 metres, was carrying 7,000 tonnes of rice. The vessel was scheduled to depart at 3:30pm through Ocean World FAP, with an aft and forward draft of 4.20 metres.
The M.T-Sea Trader, measuring 150 metres, was carrying 18,999 tonnes of palm oil. It was scheduled to leave at 3:30pm through Al-Pine Marine from LCT, with a draft of 9.50 metres.
The M.V-Yasa Pluto, with an LOA of 200 metres, was carrying 58,930 tonnes of coal. The vessel was scheduled to depart at 3:30pm through Ocean World PIBT, with an aft and forward draft of 13 metres.
Meanwhile, the M.V-Zhong Gu Ri Zhao, a 180-metre container vessel, was scheduled to sail at 6:30pm through CMA CGM Pakistan from QICT-V. The vessel had a draft of 9.40 metres.
Six vessels scheduled for berthing
Six vessels were listed for berthing at Port Qasim.
The M.V-NZ Ningbo, measuring 200 metres, was scheduled to berth at QT2-I at 3:00pm. The container vessel had a draft of 10.80 metres and was represented by Oceansea Shipping (Pvt.) Ltd.
The M.V-Yaesu, with an LOA of 229 metres, was scheduled to berth at FAP at 3:30pm. The vessel was carrying 69,305 tonnes of soybean seed and had a draft of 12.97 metres. Ocean Services is its shipping agent.
The M.T-Searay, measuring 178 metres, was carrying 25,120 tonnes of palm oil and was scheduled to berth at LCT at 6:30pm through Al-Pine Marine. Its aft draft was 9.80 metres, while its forward draft stood at 9.60 metres.
The M.V-Truong An Star, with an LOA of 110 metres, was carrying 10,000 tonnes of rice. It was scheduled to berth at FAP at 6:30pm through Al-Pine Marine, with an aft and forward draft of 5.10 metres.
Two other vessels were also scheduled for berthing at 6:30pm. The M.V-Spirit of Bertram, measuring 170 metres, was listed for QICT-VII, while the M.V-Er Maden, with an LOA of 190 metres, was scheduled for PIBT.
Two vessels listed for shifting
Port Qasim also recorded shifting activity involving two vessels.
The M.T-GM 2, measuring 84 metres, was carrying 1,010 tonnes of LPG. The vessel, represented by Universal Shipping, was listed for shifting from SSGC at midnight, with an aft and forward draft of 4.20 metres.
The M.T-Marine Ista, with an LOA of 103 metres, was carrying 5,251 tonnes of VLSFO oil. Represented by Al-Pine Marine, the vessel was scheduled for shifting at midnight from the outer anchorage. Its aft draft was 7.50 metres, while its forward draft stood at 6.70 metres.
Port Qasim handles diverse cargo
The latest operational data highlights continued movement of bulk commodities, edible oils, rice, coal, soybean seed, petroleum products and containerised cargo through Port Qasim.
The vessel movements reflect sustained cargo-handling activity across the port’s terminals, with ships carrying a range of imported and exported commodities scheduled for operations throughout the day.
