Karachi, January 20, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released the shipping movement report for Monday, January 20, 2025, providing stakeholders with essential details regarding vessel arrivals, departures, and commodities handled at the port.

According to the report, Port Qasim witnessed significant shipping activity as several vessels arrived and sailed throughout the day, unloading and loading a variety of goods.

Vessel Sailing Information

One of the vessels, M.V. Dulce Diva, with PQA registration number 35308, had a length overall (L.O.A.) of 200 meters. This ship carried 40,342 metric tons of cement for import and had a draft aft of 10 meters and a forward draft of 6.80 meters. It departed at 14:30 under the guidance of Global Maritime, using berth M/W-II at Port Qasim.

Another noteworthy vessel, M.T. Rich Rainbow (PQA registration number 35299), was carrying 36,508 metric tons of MOGAS (Motor Gasoline) for export. With a L.O.A. of 182 meters, this vessel had a draft aft and forward of 11.80 meters. It was scheduled to sail at 15:00 with Al-Pine Marine handling the ship agent duties at the FOTCO berth.

The M.V. Apollon D (PQA registration number 35366), a container ship measuring 208.96 meters in length, was loaded with 1,950 metric tons of containers. This vessel, with a draft aft and forward of 11.60 meters, was set to depart at 22:00, under the management of GAC Shipping, from the QICT-VII berth at Port Qasim.

Vessel Berthing Information

Port Qasim also saw several vessels arrive during the day. The M.V. MSC Maeva (PQA registration number 35371) arrived at 06:40, docking at the QT2-II berth. M.T. Venus (PQA registration number 35302), carrying 4,000 metric tons of LPG, docked at the EVTL berth at 14:00. This vessel had a L.O.A. of 112 meters and a draft of 7.40 meters.

The M.T. MTM Amazon (PQA registration number 35286), with a L.O.A. of 170 meters, arrived at the M/W-I berth at 17:45. This ship was loaded with 8,036 metric tons of palm oil, with a draft of 6.10 meters.

At 17:45, M.V. Annegrit also arrived at the PIBT berth, though further details were not provided in the report.

Lastly, M.T. River Side (PQA registration number 35356), carrying 55,000 metric tons of High-Speed Furnace Oil (HSFO), arrived at 19:00 and docked at the FOTCO berth with a draft of 9.00 meters aft and 6.00 meters forward.
