Karachi, August 14, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its latest shipping operations update for Thursday, August 14, 2025, providing essential information for maritime stakeholders and trade partners.

The report, compiled at 0800 hours, covers vessel movements and activities over the past 24 hours at Port Qasim.

During this period, several key vessels departed from the Port, including container carriers M.V. HIGHWAY, M.V. HANSA AFRICA, and M.V. MSC FALCON III. These ships, handled by different shipping agents, cleared their berths after completing cargo operations and are now en route to their next destinations.

On the berthing side, new arrivals included M.V. XIN LIAN CHANG, which docked to discharge containerized cargo, and M.V. SEDRA, which brought in 7,669 metric tonnes of steel products for local industries. Additionally, the gas tanker M.T. MAYA GAS 1 berthed to handle its scheduled consignment.

The Port Qasim Authority noted that all shipping activities are proceeding smoothly, with operational coordination maintained among terminal operators, customs authorities, and logistics providers. Efficient cargo handling remains a priority to support Pakistan’s import-export flow, especially in containerized and bulk commodity segments.
