Karachi, May 15, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its daily report detailing shipping operations for Thursday, May 15, 2025.

The report, updated at 0800 hours, provides a comprehensive overview of vessel movements and cargo handling activities over the past 24 hours at one of Pakistan’s busiest maritime gateways.

Port Qasim, a critical hub for maritime trade, saw a steady flow of shipping operations as several vessels completed their cargo handling and set sail, while others arrived to commence unloading and loading procedures. These daily shipping updates are vital for stakeholders, including shipping agents, importers, exporters, and logistics service providers who rely on real-time operational data.

According to the latest report, three vessels departed Port Qasim after completing their operations. The M.T-CHINOOK I, carrying 17,400 metric tons of palm oil, departed from the Liquid Cargo Terminal (LCT) under the agency of Al-Pine Marine. Similarly, M.V-GLORIA, loaded with 69,832 metric tons of soybean seed, and M.V-NORD UTOPIA, carrying 59,303 metric tons of coal, departed from Pakistan International Bulk Terminal (PIBT). These efficient shipping operations underscore the port’s capability to handle a diverse range of bulk commodities.

Port Qasim remains committed to enhancing its shipping operations by adopting advanced technologies, improving turnaround times, and ensuring maritime safety. With efficient berthing and sailing activities, Port Qasim continues to uphold its status as a strategic asset in Pakistan’s shipping and trade network.
