Several ships set sail from Port Qasim, carrying essential cargo to international destinations. Among them, M.T. Asia Liberty, a vessel loaded with 29,954 metric tons of palm oil, departed from Liquid Cargo Terminal (LCT) at 13:30 hours. The departure of vessels like these highlights the efficiency of Port Qasim’s shipping network, ensuring the timely movement of goods.

Berthing of Vessels

Several vessels arrived at Port Qasim, ready to offload and take on cargo. Key arrivals included:

• M.V. LMZ Pluto, which docked at Pakistan International Bulk Terminal (PIBT) carrying 54,503 metric tons of coal.

• M.V. MSC Unific VI, a container vessel, berthed at QT2-II for handling shipping containers.

• M.V. Kanko Maru, carrying 64,600 metric tons of canola seed, arrived at PIBT.

• M.T. Katsuyama, loaded with 24,977 metric tons of palm oil, berthed at LCT.

• M.V. Seaspan Santos, a general cargo ship, secured its docking position at QICT-VII.
