Karachi, January 9, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released the detailed schedule of shipping operations for Thursday, January 9, 2025. As one of Pakistan’s busiest ports, Port Qasim continues to play a pivotal role in facilitating trade and ensuring smooth maritime logistics for stakeholders.
Sailing of Vessels
On Thursday, January 9, two vessels were scheduled to sail out of Port Qasim:
• M.V-ARINAGA (PQA Reg. No. 35249) with a length overall (LOA) of 200 meters, departed from berth M/W-II at 15:00 hours. This vessel was carrying 41,108 metric tons of rice under the agency of Eastwind Shipping.
• M.V-XPRESS MEKONG (PQA Reg. No. 35313), a 186-meter-long vessel, set sail from QT2-I at 15:00 hours, managed by X-Press Feeders.
Berthing of Vessels
Six vessels arrived at Port Qasim and were berthed as follows:
1. M.V-XPRESS MEKONG berthed at QT2-I at 09:00 hours. It is carrying containers under the supervision of X-Press Feeders.
2. M.V-PACIFIC SKY (PQA Reg. No. 35291), a 210-meter-long vessel transporting 28,000 metric tons of heavy fuel oil (HSFO), docked at FOTCO at 09:30 hours.
3. M.V-TORRENTE (PQA Reg. No. 35315), a 300-meter-long container vessel, berthed at QT2-II at 12:00 hours under the agency of Hapag-Lloyd Pakistan.
4. M.T-EPIC BOLIVAR berthed at EVTL at 14:30 hours.
5. M.T-FUWAIRIT (PQA Reg. No. 35314), carrying 135,121 metric tons of LNG, docked at EETL at 16:00 hours under GAC Shipping.
6. M.V-HAJ MOHAMMAD berthed at M/W-II at 18:00 hours with 22,000 metric tons of cement.
