Karachi, October 1, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its daily update on shipping operations, providing critical details for traders, agents, and stakeholders involved in maritime logistics.

The report, issued at 08:00 hours, covers the activities of the past 24 hours at Pakistan’s second-busiest port.

According to the update, vessel movements at Port Qasim continued smoothly with several ships engaged in both import and export operations. The latest report highlighted the sailing of M.V. GFS JUNO (Reg No. 36399), a 200-meter-long vessel, which departed from QICT-V terminal at 12:00 hours.

Meanwhile, fresh berthing operations included the arrival of M.T. NEPTA (Reg No. 36400), measuring 112 meters, which berthed at SSGC terminal at 08:45 hours. Another vessel, M.V. HANSA AFRICA (Reg No. 36401), a 231-meter container ship, successfully berthed at QICT-VII terminal at 09:00 hours.

The PQA emphasized that port management is ensuring uninterrupted shipping operations through effective coordination with ship agents, customs, and terminal operators. These efforts are designed to streamline cargo handling, minimize delays, and support Pakistan’s import-export sector.
