KARACHI, October 10, 2025 — The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) released its latest shipping operations report on Friday morning, providing detailed insights into vessel movements and cargo handling activities over the past 24 hours.
The report, updated at 0800 hours, highlights efficient port activity reflecting continued stability in Pakistan’s maritime trade operations.
According to PQA, multiple vessels were engaged in import and export activities involving commodities such as liquefied natural gas (LNG), palm oil, bitumen, and containers. Notably, the tankers Hafnia Australia and Yanee completed their cargo operations and sailed from FOTCO and LCT terminals, respectively. Meanwhile, new vessels including MSC Prelude V and Al Wajbah berthed successfully to handle containerized goods and LNG shipments.
Port officials emphasized that the seamless coordination between terminal operators and shipping agents has ensured timely berthing and sailing schedules. This efficiency not only enhances trade flow but also supports Pakistan’s growing reliance on marine logistics.
