Karachi, October 3, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) released its daily shipping operations report on Friday to provide updated information to traders, importers, exporters, and logistics companies.

The report, updated at 08:00 hours, covers port activities over the last 24 hours and highlights vessel berthing, cargo handling, and operational details.

According to the PQA, multiple vessels were accommodated at the port to ensure smooth flow of trade. M.V. DARIA, a bulk carrier with registration number 36407, berthed at Pakistan International Bulk Terminal (PIBT). The vessel carried a manifest of over 54,000 metric tons of coal, drawing a draft of 12.78 meters aft and forward. Another vessel, M.V. BELITA, measuring 199.99 meters in length overall, was scheduled at berth QT2-II, while M.V. ORION VII, with registration number 36361, was listed for bunker services and repair activities under Orion Bunkers management.

The PQA emphasized that the shipping sector plays a vital role in sustaining Pakistan’s import and export requirements. Port Qasim remains one of the busiest hubs in the country, handling a variety of cargo including coal, oil, containers, and general goods. Authorities stated that continuous monitoring and real-time updates of port and shipping operations help minimize delays and support international trade commitments.
