Karachi, October 7, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its daily shipping operations report for Tuesday, providing an overview of vessel movements, berthing schedules, and cargo handling activities at one of Pakistan’s busiest maritime hubs.
The report, updated at 0800 hours, covers port activities over the past 24 hours, detailing imports, exports, and vessel operations critical to the country’s trade flow.
According to PQA, several vessels engaged in the shipping of essential commodities such as palm oil, sugar, and containers were handled efficiently at the port terminals. The container vessel M.V. ALBERT P departed from QICT-VII under the agency of GAC Shipping, while tankers like M.T. SEARAY carrying 25,978 metric tons of palm oil and M.V. ISTANBUL-M loaded with 31,500 metric tons of sugar were successfully berthed for unloading. Another vessel, M.V. GFS PRIME, also arrived for operations later in the day.
Officials highlighted that smooth port and shipping activities were maintained due to improved coordination among terminal operators, shipping agents, and customs authorities. The Port Qasim Authority reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring uninterrupted shipping operations, supporting Pakistan’s maritime trade and industrial supply chains.
The report further emphasized that all berthing and sailing operations were conducted in compliance with safety and environmental standards, ensuring seamless cargo movement through the port.
