Port Qasim Shipping Operations on January 27, 2025

Karachi, January 27, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has issued its latest updates on shipping operations for Monday, January 27, 2025. The operations at Port Qasim are progressing efficiently to accommodate the needs of stakeholders involved in imports and exports.

As of 0800 hours, the following developments were reported:

Sailing of Vessels

1. M.V. CUSSLER: Registered under PQA Reg. No. 35392, this container vessel (length 222.17 meters) completed loading operations and is scheduled to sail at 11:30. It was berthed at QT2-I under the agency of GAC Shipping.

2. M.T. HEXAGON ALPHA: Carrying 30,000 MT of palm oil, this 186-meter-long vessel is set to sail from Port Qasim at 15:30. Managed by Al-Pine Marine, it was berthed at LCT.

3. M.V. DARYA RAPTI: Transporting 11,387 MT of chickpeas, this vessel with a length of 183 meters is also scheduled to depart at 15:30 under the agency of WMA Shipcare from the FAP berth.

Berthing of Vessels

1. M.V. AL RAYYAN: A massive LNG carrier (length 276 meters) loaded with 135,750 MT of liquefied natural gas berthed at the EETL berth at 10:00. It is handled by GSA (Pvt) Ltd.

2. M.T. ALAA: Carrying 9,179 MT of LPG, this 155-meter-long vessel berthed at SSGC at 11:00 under the agency of Merchant Marine Services.

3. M.T. START: A gasoline carrier of 183 meters, transporting 25,915 MT of cargo, berthed at FOTCO at 11:00.

4. M.T. GALL: With 26,450 MT of palm oil, this 117-meter vessel berthed at M/W-I at 11:30 under Al-Pine Marine.

5. M.T. ARTEMIDA: Another palm oil carrier (length 184 meters) with 27,953 MT of cargo, berthed at LCT at 18:30 under TransTrade.

Operations at Port Qasim reflect robust activity across diverse commodities, including LNG, LPG, palm oil, chickpeas, and gasoline.
