KARACHI – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its shipping operations report for Friday, August 1, 2025, detailing vessel movements over the previous 24 hours to inform and facilitate all maritime and logistics stakeholders.
This daily report was issued at 0800 hours and highlights critical developments regarding the port’s berthing and sailing activities.
According to the official report, Port Qasim witnessed the successful operations of multiple cargo and tanker vessels engaged in the handling of various imports including lentil peas, LPG, gas oil, palm oil, and liquefied natural gas (LNG). Notable among the departing vessels were M.V. AKRA, carrying 36,045 metric tons of lentil peas; M.T. YASHAR with 2,150 metric tons of LPG; and M.T. ULLSWATER transporting 2,563 metric tons of LPG. All vessels departed on schedule under the supervision of their respective shipping agents.
Meanwhile, significant berthing operations were also carried out. M.T. MARLIN LE HAVRE berthed at FOTCO terminal with 52,300 metric tons of gas oil, while M.T. AL KHEESAH arrived with 140,840 metric tons of LNG. The container ship M.V. CATALONIA berthed at QT2-I terminal, managed by CMA CGM Pakistan. Other arrivals included M.T. BANGLAR AGRAJATRA with 20,499 metric tons of palm oil, and M.V. EF OLIVIA at QICT-VII.
