Karachi, August 11, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) released its detailed shipping operations report for Monday, August 11, 2025, providing updated information to facilitate trade, logistics, and maritime stakeholders.

The update, issued at 0800 hours, covers the port’s vessel movements and activities over the past 24 hours.

According to the PQA, several significant shipping activities took place during the reporting period. Departures included M.V. Albion Bay carrying coal, M.T. Voula loaded with motor gasoline (MOGAS), and M.T. Eva Hongkong transporting containers. These vessels completed their loading and unloading operations and sailed according to their respective schedules, ensuring smooth cargo handling at the port.

On the arrivals side, notable berthings included M.T. LNGC Kita with liquefied natural gas (LNG), M.V. Seaspan Santos carrying containers, M.V. Mega Benefit with soybean seed, and M.T. Bolan transporting gas oil. These ships are now engaged in their discharge and loading operations under the supervision of authorized agents and port authorities.

The PQA emphasized that maintaining efficient shipping schedules is essential for sustaining the port’s throughput and supporting Pakistan’s trade flows. Smooth coordination between terminal operators, agents, and logistics providers ensures that shipping operations are completed on time, minimizing delays and optimizing cargo turnover.
