Karachi, August 5, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its latest shipping operations report for Tuesday, August 5, 2025, providing a comprehensive update on maritime activities over the past 24 hours to inform all relevant stakeholders, including cargo handlers, shipping agents, and logistics companies.

According to the update issued at 0800 hours, multiple vessels were actively engaged in shipping operations at Port Qasim, which remains one of Pakistan’s busiest deep-sea commercial harbors.

Two key vessels successfully sailed out from the port. The M.V. PACIFIC NEXUS, loaded with 30,126 metric tons of steel coils, departed at 10:30 under the agency of NYK Line Pakistan. Similarly, the M.V. MARIA TOPIC, carrying 58,100 metric tons of coal, sailed at 15:30, represented by Trade2Shore, highlighting the port’s vital role in handling essential industrial commodities.

On the berthing front, Port Qasim received four new vessels. The M.V. MSC VITTORIA, a container ship, berthed at 09:20 under MSC Pakistan. The M.T. PAREA, loaded with 68,262 metric tons of soybean seed, and the M.T. NEPTA, with 4,242 metric tons of LPG, were also docked under the supervision of Ocean Services and M. International, respectively. Additionally, M.V. VALENCE arrived and berthed at QICT-VII at 15:15.

These operations underscore Port Qasim’s critical role in facilitating Pakistan’s import and export shipping flows, reinforcing its status as a strategic trade gateway for industrial, agricultural, and energy sectors.
