Karachi, February 20, 2026 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) on Friday released its daily shipping operations report to facilitate shipping lines, importers, exporters, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders involved in maritime trade.
According to the PQA, the shipping operations were updated at 8:00 AM PKT, covering vessel movements recorded during the past 24 hours. The report highlights the sailing, berthing, and shifting activities of multiple vessels, reflecting steady operational flow at the country’s second-largest seaport.
Under the sailing operations, the vessel M.V-Astraea SB departed from the FAP berth carrying 69,970 metric tons of canola seed, managed by Sea Trade Shipping. The vessel had a length overall of 225 meters and maintained a draft of 13 meters at both aft and forward points, indicating full cargo loading.
In the berthing category, three vessels were recorded. M.V-Mac Jeanne berthed at QICT-VII during the afternoon, while M.V-Scion Charlotte arrived at PIBT with 65,052 metric tons of canola seed, handled by Ocean Services. Additionally, M.V-MSC Madeleine, a large container vessel with a length overall of 348.5 meters, berthed at QT2-II, reflecting continued container traffic at the terminal.
The shifting operations included the movement of M.V-BTG Elebert, carrying 65,127 metric tons of canola seed, under the agency of Eastwind Shipping. Meanwhile, M.T-Marine Ista, involved in bunker supply operations, shifted from the outer anchorage under the supervision of Al-Pine Marine.
Port officials stated that shipping operations remained smooth and efficient, supported by favorable weather conditions and coordinated port management. The steady flow of cargo vessels underscores Port Qasim’s critical role in supporting Pakistan’s international trade and supply chain.
