Karachi, July 2, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its daily shipping operations report for Wednesday, July 2, 2025, offering crucial updates on vessel movements, berthing activity, and cargo handling at the port.

The report, issued at 08:00 hours, outlines maritime operations over the past 24 hours, providing port stakeholders, shipping agents, and logistics operators with a comprehensive overview of shipping activity at one of Pakistan’s busiest commercial gateways. Port Qasim continues to play a vital role in managing Pakistan’s international trade through efficient port and shipping services.

According to the shipping report, vessel movements remained consistent, reflecting healthy import-export activity. One of the notable departures was the vessel M.V. Xin Hai Tong 36, which sailed after offloading 41,272 metric tons of coal. Managed by Ocean World and docked at Marginal Wharf-II, the ship completed operations with precise coordination by the port authorities.

Meanwhile, new vessels berthed to commence their respective operations. The M.V. Hansa America, a container vessel measuring 240 meters in length, berthed at QICT-VII under the agency of GAC Shipping. This reflects Port Qasim’s growing efficiency in containerized cargo handling. Another significant arrival was the M.T. Ejnan, an LNG carrier, which berthed at EETL terminal with a cargo manifest of 140,178 metric tons of LNG. The ship was handled by GSA (Pvt) Ltd., highlighting Pakistan’s increasing energy imports via port terminals.

Also berthing on the same day was the bulk carrier M.V. America Graeca, which brought in 44,611 metric tons of coal and docked at M/W-II under the management of Al-Pine Marine.

The shipping operations report underscores the port’s critical role in supporting the country’s energy and trade sectors.
