Karachi, July 26, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its official report on shipping operations for Saturday, July 26, 2025, offering valuable insights into the port’s daily maritime activities.

The report, updated at 0800 hours, summarizes vessel movements and berthing schedules over the last 24 hours to assist stakeholders involved in logistics and trade.

According to the latest report, two major vessels departed the port during the reporting period. M.V-XPRESS KOHIMA sailed out at 14:30 from berth QT2-II, while M.V-SAND PIPER, which had discharged 41,901 metric tons of coal, departed from M/W-II at 15:00.

On the berthing side, operations remained active with several significant arrivals. M.V-XPRESS KOHIMA returned and berthed at QT2-II, handling containerized cargo. M.T-FUWAIRIT docked at EETL to offload 135,937 metric tons of LNG, highlighting the increasing energy imports through the port. M.V-LYNUX SYNERGY carrying 24,000 metric tons of iron ore also arrived and was managed by Crystal Sea Services at M/W-II.

Additionally, the LPG carrier M.T-MAYA GAS 1 berthed at EVTL, while M.V-AKRA with a lentil peas cargo of 36,045 metric tons docked at FAP. Coal-related operations remained a strong focus, as M.V-ILIANA and M.V-MAKRA brought in 55,000 and 42,353 metric tons of coal respectively, arriving at PIBT and M/W-II.

The large container vessel M.V-MSC JUSTICE VIII also arrived and is scheduled at QT2-I. These operations reflect Port Qasim’s critical role in sustaining Pakistan’s trade and energy supply chains, reinforcing its position as a key maritime port hub in Karachi.
