Karachi, July 5, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its official Shipping Operations Report for Saturday, July 5, 2025, outlining the latest maritime activity and logistics flow at one of Pakistan’s busiest seaports.
The daily report, published at 08:00 hours, serves to inform shipping companies, logistics providers, and other stakeholders about ongoing port operations and vessel movements over the past 24 hours.
According to the Port Qasim Authority, two vessels departed the port after completing their respective shipping operations. The first, M.V. Flora, carrying a consignment of 20,500 metric tons of imported corn, sailed from the Multi-Purpose Wharf-II. The second, M.T. Blue Bird, loaded with 57,417 metric tons of Mogas, left from the FOTCO terminal. Both vessels successfully completed their operations and departed by 15:30 under the management of Blue Sea Marine and Transmarine, respectively.
Meanwhile, the berthing section of the report confirmed the arrival of three new vessels that commenced operations. M.V. African Flamingo, a coal carrier with 60,249 metric tons of cargo, berthed at Pakistan International Bulk Terminal (PIBT) around 12:30, under the supervision of Trade2Shore. Another vessel, M.T. Chemroad Rose, docked at the EVTL terminal, while container ship M.V. Xpress Salween began operations later in the evening at the Qasim International Container Terminal (QICT).
