Karachi, June 12, 2025 – Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its detailed shipping operations report for Thursday, June 12, 2025, highlighting the latest maritime activity at one of Pakistan’s busiest commercial hubs.
This report is a critical update for port users, logistics companies, and trade stakeholders involved in maritime operations across the region.
The shipping operations report, issued by Port Qasim at 0800 hours, covers vessel movements, including arrivals, departures, and berthing activities within the last 24 hours. The port has remained active with both containerized and bulk cargo operations continuing without disruption.
According to the report, two vessels sailed out from the port: M.V. HANSA AFRICA, which departed from berth QT2-II under the agency of GAC Shipping, and M.V. ZHONG HANG SHENG, managed by CMA CGM Pakistan, which sailed from QICT-V. Both vessels were involved in container shipping operations and departed smoothly with adequate drafts.
In terms of berthing, several key vessels arrived and were assigned berths efficiently. M.V. SEA HUNTER carrying 40,850 metric tons of cement docked at M/W-II under the management of Bulk Shipping Agencies. M.T. GAS EMERALD, an ethylene carrier with a cargo of 4,300 metric tons, berthed at EVTL with assistance from Al-Pine Marine. Another Al-Pine Marine vessel, M.T. MELTEMI, brought in 57,091 metric tons of Mogas and commenced operations at FOTCO. In addition, M.V. PHOENIX OCEAN, loaded with a substantial shipment of 64,206 metric tons of soybean seed, began discharge operations at PIBT, managed by Ocean Services.
The report also included details of M.V. MSC JANIS 3, which arrived at QT2-I in the afternoon, marking yet another container ship entry as part of regular shipping operations.
Port Qasim remains a crucial component of Pakistan’s maritime trade, supporting extensive import and export operations daily. This latest report underscores the port’s efficiency in handling diverse cargoes—from petroleum products and chemicals to cement and agricultural commodities.
