Karachi, June 23, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its daily shipping operations report for Monday, June 23, 2025, providing a comprehensive overview of maritime activities at the port during the past 24 hours.

The report, updated at 0800 hours, aims to ensure transparency and efficiency in port operations and facilitate planning for logistics and supply chain stakeholders.

According to the report, two vessels completed their sailing operations during the reporting period. M.T-YASHAR, carrying 2,123 metric tons of LPG, departed from Engro Vopak Terminal Limited (EVTL) under the management of Universal Shipping. Another ship, M.V-IVS PRESTWICK, loaded with 42,482 metric tons of imported coal, sailed from Pakistan International Bulk Terminal (PIBT), managed by GSA (Pvt) Ltd.

Meanwhile, the shipping operations report highlights significant berthing activity at Port Qasim. Seven vessels were berthed across various terminals, handling diverse cargoes such as LNG, gas oil, palm oil, cement, phosphoric acid, and containers. The report shows that M.T-AL QASSAR, loaded with 138,600 metric tons of LNG, berthed at Engro Elengy Terminal Limited (EETL) at 10:15 AM, managed by GSA (Pvt) Ltd.

In terms of fuel and chemical imports, M.T-PACIFIC SARAH arrived with 60,354 metric tons of gas oil and berthed at FOTCO Terminal, while M.T-BOW PANTHER discharged 20,699 metric tons of palm oil at Marginal Wharf-I. For the container segment, M.V-MSC MEDITERRANEAN and M.V-TANJA were berthed at QICT-VII and QT2-II respectively, enhancing container operations for importers and exporters.

Bulk and liquid cargo operations remained steady. M.V-SERENE SKY brought in 39,370 metric tons of cement, berthing at Marginal Wharf-II, while M.T-DS COUGAR carried 10,479 metric tons of phosphoric acid and was moored at EVTL. Another container vessel, M.V-EF OLIVIA, berthed later in the day at QICT-V, further strengthening the port’s container handling operations.

The PQA reiterated that such detailed daily reports help improve coordination between port authorities, terminal operators, and shipping lines. The consistent issuance of the shipping operations report plays a crucial role in enhancing turnaround time and optimizing vessel schedules. With these operations running efficiently, Port Qasim continues to serve as a vital logistics and shipping hub for Pakistan’s trade and industry.
