Karachi, June 29, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its official report on shipping operations for Sunday, June 29, 2025, offering a comprehensive overview of vessel movements and port activities.
The report, updated at 0800 hours, outlines all major shipping developments over the past 24 hours, essential for stakeholders involved in trade, logistics, and maritime operations.
According to the Port Qasim Authority, multiple vessels completed their sailing procedures on Saturday. Notably, the bulk carrier PAN RAPIDO departed after handling a significant import consignment of pet coke, totaling over 54,000 metric tons. Likewise, GAS EMERALD, a specialized tanker, concluded its operations after discharging 4,300 metric tons of ethylene. Another major vessel, SERENO, wrapped up fuel-related shipping tasks by exporting nearly 59,000 metric tons of Mogas, ensuring continued momentum in petroleum supply chains.
On the berthing front, new vessels were smoothly accommodated at various terminals of Port Qasim. The cargo ship XIN HAI TONG 37, carrying over 41,000 metric tons of coal, was berthed to support energy and industrial needs, while OCEAN AGLAIA, loaded with palm oil, began offloading essential food-grade imports, supporting the FMCG and edible oil sectors.
The PQA report emphasizes that all port logistics were executed efficiently, maintaining operational flow across terminals like PIBT, EVTL, FOTCO, M/W-II, and LCT. This consistency reflects the port’s capability to manage high cargo throughput while ensuring timely vessel turnaround.
Shipping agents including International Shipping & Ports, Al-Pine Marine, Transmarine, and Ocean World played a critical role in facilitating smooth berthing and sailing schedules. Their coordination with port control authorities ensured minimal delays despite increasing regional maritime activity.
Port Qasim’s latest report underlines the strategic importance of its operations for Pakistan’s economy. The shipping movements not only support trade continuity but also enhance the port’s reputation as a reliable gateway for both bulk and liquid cargo.
As one of Pakistan’s most vital maritime hubs, Port Qasim remains central to maintaining uninterrupted shipping logistics, contributing significantly to national import-export flows. The daily report offers transparency and critical data for improving maritime efficiency.
